Scrubber Formula is a unique, multi-purpose odor neutralizer specifically designed to replace or augment traditional gas scrubbing chemicals, a/k/a scrubbants, such as bleach, chlorine dioxide, chlorine gas, and caustic soda. For tough organic odor loads, Scrubber Formula replaces acid(s) as the sole scrubbant. For air pollution equipment maintenance, Scrubber Formula cleans packing media and internals with no downtime for maintenance.
For the biological odor control application, Scrubber Formula polishes organic odors and replaces or augments carbon adsorption systems and can be added to nutrient feed system or fogged counter-current to stack exhaust. Imparts a pleasant, natural, clean scent at stack exhaust.

This proven-effective chemical contains an ecologically sound surfactant, Ordenone® inclusion clathrate encapsulator, zinc ricinoleate, an additional trade secret encapsulator which lowers the vapor pressure on malodors, a blend of several essential oils and essential oil derivatives, phytochemicals, terpenoids, biologicals designed to reduce organic odors, and a silicone defoamer.
Ordenone® is an odorless inclusion clathrate compound which acts as a chemical lattice to entrap sulfides, amines, mercaptans, ammonia, indole and skatole compounds, and certain aldehydes. Ordenone® removes 77.5% ammonia at 3% concentration. Scrubber Formula contains more than 3% Ordenone®.
Zinc Ricinoleate is a zinc salt of ricinoleic acid. Zinc oxide comprises the zinc source, while ricinoleic acid is a purified fatty acid from castor seed oil extracted from the Ricinus communis plant. Zinc ricinoleate does not contain ricin. Zinc salts of ricinoleic acid are effective at controlling a broad spectrum of odors. Because of its safety profile and effectiveness, zinc ricinoleate is widely used in personal care products such as commercial deodorants, anti-perspirants, laundry detergents, etc.
Biological Odor Control: The Bacillus spore blend targets a wide range of malodorous organic compounds including ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, volatile fatty acids, and mercaptans.
The biological component also degrades proteins, starches, cellulose, fats, oils, and greases. The application specific bacteria produce extracellular enzymes that degrade organic matter, such as proteins. The degradation by-products are metabolized by the bacteria cells and utilized for growth. Thus, the slow break-down of these materials, which would otherwise result in the formation of numerous malodorous compounds, can not occur, and the odors are prevented at point source.

Bio-Catalyst: The non-active, vegetable based bio-stimulant contains a proprietary, patented (US Patent 20110139713), blend of natural marine algal extracts, plant derived surfactants, a blend of vitamins, and anti-corrosion/anti-foaming agents. The bio-catalyst reduces hydrogen sulfide production by increasing the metabolic activity of aerobic micro-organisms in the wastewater, thereby raising the ORP levels. The bio-catalyst stimulates the aerobic micro-organisms to levels at which they reduce the organic electron donor molecules available to the anaerobic sulfide, reducing micro-organisms for their sustained metabolism. Hydrogen peroxide is effective against a broad spectrum of odors, including but not limited to, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, some amines, phenols, ammonia, aldehydes, nitrogen oxides (NOx), and SO2.
Peroxibase II is the second generation ultimate oxidizer for clients opting for a chlorine-free approach in gas scrubbing applications such as recirculating packed bed wet scrubber systems and mist chambers. Peroxibase II is designed to replace chlorine chemicals, and it can be employed, under certain conditions, as the sole scrubbant.
Peroxibase II forms no chlorinated by-products, or formaldehyde, or scaling, and when used in conjunction with sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), less scaling is formed, resulting in less maintenance.
For clients desiring to replace sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), Peroxibase II works synergistically with magnesium hydroxide. Peroxibase II can be employed with other alkalis.
Hydrogen peroxide is a more heat-stable and efficient oxidizer than chlorine-based chemicals, and systems utilizing Peroxibase II require less water and chemical consumption. Contaminant removal rates can be achieved at lower ORP (often in the 200-400 µV range).
This strong oxidizer contains a powerful, peroxide-stable industrial grade deodorizer to control odors from the most challenging applications. An ecologically sound surfactant is present for gas wetting, detergency, and emulsification. The surfactant cleans packing media and internals with no downtime.
Peroxibase II contains 12% hydrogen peroxide with an ecologically sound surfactant, an industrial grade peroxide-stable deodorizer, and silicone defoamer. Custom blends can be manufactured with up to 20% hydrogen peroxide.
